Louisville, KY
A free hot meal every Friday, a clothing closet twice a week, and a place to belong. Everyone is welcome.
A neighbor gives, a volunteer cooks, and someone sits down to eat. Eighteen thousand meals so far.
Our mission
In 2019 it was a single outdoor box on Mary Street, stocked with whatever we could spare, for whoever needed it. No paperwork. No questions.
It grew because neighbors kept coming and volunteers kept showing up. Today we serve hot meals, run a clothing closet, and partner with churches across Louisville for community days with food, clothing and haircuts.
At His Blessings Box, our purpose is to extend a helping hand to all those in need within our community. Through providing hot meals, food, clothes, haircuts and other essential services, we create meaningful moments of peace and comfort for individuals, fostering an environment where the transformative power of God's love can touch lives, one person at a time.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.”
