From the backpack drive

Over 100 backpacks went out for the school year. The part no number captures: the same volunteers who served the food that day hand-wrote scripture inside the notebooks, then handed the backpacks to the kids themselves.

Every backpack carried John 3:16 in a volunteer’s own handwriting.

Where the money goes

Every plate, coat and backpack in these photos started with somebody's giving. A neighbor gave, a volunteer cooked, and a stranger sat down to eat and stayed a while. Eighteen thousand meals later, that is still how it works. And the people it serves come back to serve.
